Here’s a helpful post at that explains how to install the DirectShow SDK. 

This article explains the steps needed to successfully installing DirectShow SDK into Microsoft Windows on the desktop. It guides you all the way from obtaining and installing the required SDKs, to configuring the environment, and finally, building a DirectShow application to verify the installation of the SDK.

    Do you happen to have the DShow_Verify.rar file from

    Their site seems to be dead. You might want to grab the cached article and repost it here.

    Thanks for letting me know about the disappearance of the fungileo post. I don’t have DShow_Verify.rar, nor a cached copy of the post. I tried searching for using the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, but didn’t find it. I’ll see if I can find them elsewhere.

    The post disappeared due to database crash, it is now back online again.
